Unless otherwise specified, all fences are manufactured with CCA treated rough sawn pine. All fence posts are set 600mm deep in concrete filled holes at nominal
2.4 metre nominal centres. All gate posts are set 900mm deep in concrete filled holes.

What you can expect when ordering a fence?
We do require a 30% deposit. Once this is received, we will program in the job and contact you with an estimated date of when we expect to start on site and how long job will take.

What can I expect once the fence is completed?
All timber will move and shrink once exposed to the elements. We 'close board' palings which means that each paling is touching the next paling. Over time the elements will shrink the palings slightly and you will have an approximate 5mm
gap between each.

All labour and materials are fully guaranteed for 5 years.

Trellis top fence. This fence is available in 1.2 - 2.0 metre height options. The standard has 300mm of trellis installed above the palings which can be any height from 1.2 metres to 1.6 metres.
Inset paling fence with cap rail. This fence has exposed posts and a capping along the top of the palings. A nice looking fence with character. This could also have the cap aril inset between the posts and the posts capped.

Dog ear wide and narrow fence. The same as the dog ear fence but we have installed a 50mm wide batted between each 150mm wide paling. There is also a 10mm gap between each paling and batten.
Dog ear paling fence. This fence is very common in new subdivisions. It is the same as a standard timber paling fence except the top corners of each paling has been cut at 45 degrees to add character to the fence.

Machine gauged Tongue and Groove (TG&V) fence. As shown machine gauged fences are for those situations where the client requires no gap between the palings and also requires a higher standard of finish on the materials. In the example shown every second post where there is a step in the fence has gauged post caps. Although this fence is not painted, most machine gauged fences are primed and painted. You can expect a machine gauged fence to be about double the price of a rough sawn fence.
Good neighbour fence. A great fence for neighbours sharing the cost of a boundary fence. Also a good fence where graffiti is a real problem.
